Rank, stamina and storage
Rank is your player level. Beating an enemy grants experience equal to the gold it drops, and enough of it raises your rank.
The requirement is 100 × rank². Because it is quadratic, grinding cannot push your rank up forever — a linear curve meant every lap raised your rank, refilled your stamina, and stamina never constrained anything.
| Rank | Experience to next rank | Stamina cap |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100 | 100 |
| 2 | 400 | 103 |
| 3 | 900 | 106 |
| 5 | 2500 | 112 |
| 10 | 10000 | 127 |
| 20 | 40000 | 157 |
| 30 | 90000 | 187 |
| 50 | 250000 | 247 |
Stamina
One point every 1 min. Filling the rank-1 cap of 100 from empty takes 1 h 40 min.
The cap rises by 3 per rank, and stamina is fully restored the moment you rank up.
A sortie costs the sum of your deck's 4 costs. Only the tutorial stages (0-1 to 0-5) are free; events cost 2×.
Storage
100 slots, shared by monsters and items. A single item takes one slot.
Anything you would receive while full is converted into gold instead — it is not thrown away. Before a long grind, fuse away the monsters you do not want and sell the items you do not need.
